This week’s gadgets
Like every week got my tons of new gadgets ;), firstly an eeePC. I tried it (and sold it back) just because I wanted the special SF 3g+ eeePC data plan which is unlimited. eeePC is cool but really too limited, tried the Skype video chat and works fine. Overall is a cool device, too bad the screen is so small.
Then there was the freebox upgrade (not exactly a gadget but still cool) with a whole new UI. I personally find it crappy especially as the shortcuts on the remote are not working anymore.
Finally received a Novag Citrine. This thing is w00t, it’s an electronic chess board with movement detection and a serial connection. I’ll show you at the next broadband thursday what crazy people really are up to when they get their hands on that kind of gear ;).
