Dunno what is really worse in WoW … getting beaten up by tough dragons or witnessing inworld flirting … somehow both can be really scary !

I totally forgot that in 2005, Metal Gear Acid 2 was expected to sell with an accessory for the PSP enabling 3D vision of some scenes of the game. Seeing the form factor of the accessory in 2008 just had me burst out into one of the heavier laughter of the month…

Obviously, the Fring application on iPhone has disabled VoIP when on 3G connection – I guest that was the only way for them to have their way into the app store … Too bad as SIP and skype work great when on WiFI !

Last intervention today during a panel about “Hands Free Navigation & Avatar Expression”. Thanks again extralab for organizing all this – very interesting discussions out there. I’m still a bit confused about being on a text-chat panel with 100 ppl interupting on the same chat channel – that felt weird and a bit hard to follow, but really funny. I prefer voice a lot!

btw the big avatar on the bottom of the screen is Silverlight Linden – you know what they say, the bigger the avatar…

What’s smaller then a netbook ? A mini-netbook ! Check this device produced by Pandora the size of a Nintendo DS and based on w00t hardware base including an ARM core, a DSP, 3D accelerato, a nice 800×480 4.3″ screen and a full qwerty keyboard. OS is ubuntu and it’s aimed as well as mobile productivity and gaming. Unit is running Linux Ubuntu.
Would love to get my hands on one unit ! Pre-order open at 330USD…

Wireless USB (aka UWB aka Wimedia aka 802.15.3) can stream HD movies over the air, and we just got our hands on a cool reference design kit to play with ! It’s about 15USD on large quantities added to the total bill of materials price, this is getting pretty cheap!
