I just got a notice from UPS that my new mobile will be ariving tomorrow ! So Happy it’s a Samsung SGH-i600 with almost all the features possible : HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, qwerty keyboard, Windows mobile 5 (that’s for the “almost”, I hope there will be a WM6 upgrade shortly!)… I had been using Symbian for such a long time, I really am looking forward for this switch as I am convinced that Windows mobile is now starting to leap ahead of Symbian. Let’s see if the developers will start proposing their .NET apps also for the mobile !

I was looking on the web in the search for a mobile twitter application ( I know, it’s probably the worst excuse I found) So I had to add it to my blog to try it out . Now that I got that installed, I’m sure it’s really totally useless but I love it .
I installed tinytwitter on my mobile but it wouldn’t work… any idea why ? What mobile twitter client are you using ?

Update : Found a Flash Lite application that perfectly does the trick ! grab it here! Thanks Abdul for your work !

Took me 35 mins this afternoon to reach my offices by roller, and it wasn’t easy as the Marathon de Paris closed quite a few streets and roudabouts. Happy to see that with an average speed of 15km/h and a top speed at 45, I’m still going at a reasonable pace with a pretty low 125bpm heart rate !

Just saw that Ikivo, which I’ve been covering quite a few times before, has just announced the launch of Ikivo IDE and the Ikivo CDK.

The Ikivo Integrated Development Environment (IDE) enables development of scripted mobile applications based on Eclipse and SVG Tiny. It provides a complete environment for editing, debugging and testing ECMAScript with SVG Tiny content.

Ikivo IDE is integrated with already available Ikivo Animator. The Ikivo Content Development Kit (CDK) enables the design and deployment of professional, animated rich media content based on SVG Tiny for mass-market mobile phones. It encompasses a set of tools ideal for any content designer creating and deploying rich media content for mobile phones.

I just upgraded to Flash 9.0.28 on Mac OSX and man, half the web sites I’m used to reading will crash my browser ! I had to downgrade to Flash 8… I’m quite amazed that Macromedia isn’t offering proper backward compatibility… there’s no way I’m going to upgrade before I’m sure that opening vnunet or rodrigo’s blog won’t end up killing my browser.
