As you might now, I switched to the MAC world when I abandoned my IBM X40 (great laptop) for a PowerBook G4 12″. I had to change some of my habits too… if there is really an application that changed my life it’s Vienna. Vienna is an opensource newsreader and it’s really the most efficient and comfortable one I’ve ever used. What I especially like is that it’s available offline, when you click on a link it opens up in a tab inside the application, you can search on all your feeds for an info and it really is faster to go through all your feeds thanks to an ergonomic preview mode. Basically I love it

What a surprise, there was a long speech on radio bleue yesterday about WaveStorm (in French sorry). The reporters must have seen some press releases about our getting some money to develop our new range of wireless embedded platforms.

Felica is the Japanese name for the NFC credit cards. Sony just presented an update for their PS3 so that it could use the PaSoRi a USB Felica reader and let the user buy games online for their PS3. PS3 will be the first console to go that far in network and services interaction. WiFi for the Internet connection, FeLiCa for contactless payments… wireless everywhere !
